We had a brief journey to the step-down transplant unit, but less than 24 hours later they brought her back to the PICU.  The reason is she has a slight cold (rhinovirus) and they put her back on high-flow oxygen.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fifteen days in the PICU, plus the week prior to transplant in the hospital means Alysia has been living at the Georgetown University Hospital.
