Aftwr 3 weeks, JACK IS FINALLY DISCHARGED! It\u2019s been an exciting day as we moved everything over to the Ronald McDonald l House. Jack got to leave the hospital and even do PT outpatient today. He was thrilled to finally leave floor 7 for good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He still has a few weeks down here in Cincinnati, but at least we are no longer sleeping in the hospital. Jack will continue to heal and grow stronger with daily outpatient appointments with endocrinology, surgery, pt, ot, pain, etc. he is also on feeds 16 hours a day so while he is no longer in the hospital, he is still very much in his recovery period. Now all the medications and care falls on the parents, so we feel akin to bringing home a newborn. It wil be a very stressful few days while we learn the routine and gain confidence but not are we thrilled to be sleeping on tempur pedic mattresses in a hotel like setting versus existing on those vinyl torture devices in the hospital.
