The swabs from Union came back negative for RSV, influenza A &amp; B, and COVID. Riley also did a more extensive respiratory swab today, and we\u2019re happy to share that it came back negative as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the saving graces is his saline spray! Being able to spray and clear his nose has helped him breathe a little easier, and he\u2019s been taking his bottles fairly well today, which we\u2019re so thankful for.His breathing is still heavier than normal, but it has remained steady. He seems less comfortable in different positions, so the team was keeping a close eye on him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were all ready to settle in for another night but the best news is that Jaime is getting to head home! The doctors are happy with his oxygen, feeding and breathing. They feel that his saline spray and suctioning can be managed at home, where he\u2019ll hopefully be much more comfortable in familiar surroundings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re so thankful for the wonderful care he\u2019s received at Riley and are looking forward to getting our sweet boy home to continue recovering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you all for the prayers, messages, and support over the past couple of days. Please continue to keep Jaime in your thoughts as he heals.
