Jaime has been fever-free for almost 24 hours, his bloodwork showed no signs of infection, and the team didn\u2019t feel he needed another paracentesis this time. \ud83d\ude4c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For now, we\u2019re starting Lasix and seeing how his belly responds. We already head back to liver on September 15, so they\u2019ll be able to reassess everything then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He got IV antibiotics while we were there just to be extra cautious, but thankfully he doesn\u2019t need to continue them at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are more than ready to get this little guy back home, back in his own bed, and hopefully back to some much more uneventful days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Homeward bound!
