We\u2019re thrilled to share an update on Jen\u2019s recovery journey, which has been filled with challenges, progress, and incredible perseverance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 2nd, Jen was discharged from the hospital after a long\u00a0(4 months!)\u00a0\u00a0and difficult stay. However, just a few days later, she faced a setback and was readmitted to NYU Langone due to chronic vomiting. This was a particularly trying time as her team of doctors worked tirelessly to understand the cause of her symptoms. After weeks of testing and close monitoring, Jen was diagnosed with Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome. While this diagnosis brought clarity, it also added another layer of complexity to her recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 18th, Jen was released from NYU Langone and transitioned to The Ronald McDonald House near the hospital to stay close to her medical team. This period involved many doctor appointments and constant care, but being near her doctors provided Jen with the support she needed during a critical phase of her recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, we\u2019re happy to report that Jen is officially back home in the Philadelphia area with her mom. While being home is a huge milestone, recovery is still ongoing. Jen and her mom frequently travel to the greater NYC area for doctor appointments\u2014a 3.0 hour drive each way! These trips, though necessary, are incredibly exhausting for Jen, but she continues to face them with her characteristic strength and determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jen\u2019s journey is a testament to her resilience and the unwavering support of her family and community. As we continue to walk alongside Jen on this path, your love, prayers, and contributions mean the world. Thank you for being a vital part of her recovery story.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
