Hello dear friends,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we posted Jen\u2019s update in April, she had just been released from Methodist Hospital and was upbeat about the plan to treat the nagging infection in her lungs. Things seemed to be on track and she did what she does best\u2014live her life. She attended the COTA Gala Miracle Makers Celebration Gala in mid-April with friends and had a wonderful time, albeit with the assistance of a wheelchair and oxygen backpack. In late April, she and her sweet pup Duke were featured on Patty Spitler\u2019s \u201cGreat Day TV\u201d to plug the upcoming 2026 CF Great Strides Walk (this was Duke\u2019s TV debut and he was a natural on screen). And on May 3rd<\/sup> Jen and her beloved Weber\u2019s Walkers participated in the Great Strides Walk at Victory Field. Vintage Jen Warrior. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fast forward to early June\u2026 Jen was admitted to the hospital last week to try a more aggressive approach to fighting the infection. And then the wheels fell off. In rapid fashion, she ended up in the ICU suffering from acute rejection and hard to control CO2 levels. Sadly, Jen\u2019s prognosis is dire and there are no more options for treatment. She sure could use all of the love and light you can send her way. Jen and her family are so thankful for your support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
