Press conference to announce details surrounding the official launch of the fundraising campaign for Children\u2019s Organ Transplant Association (COTA). Funds raised support a lifetime of transplant related expenses. The family is announcing the COTA for Jonah\u2019s Journey fundraising campaign for six-year-old Jonah Allgeier, of Millcreek Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jonah was diagnosed with Restrictive Cardiomyopathy in December of 2022 and was recently life-flighted to Cleveland Clinic. The severity of his diagnosis requires Jonah to remain hospitalized until he receives a heart transplant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The family has partnered with COTA, a national 501(c)3 charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses. A lofty goal of $360,000 has been set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
