This camp isn\u2019t just about fun (although there\u2019s plenty of that!) \u2014 it\u2019s about giving heart warriors a place where their physical and emotional health are supported, where they can connect with other kids who truly understand their journey, and where they can simply feel normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What makes this camp even more meaningful to us is that it\u2019s staffed by incredible volunteers who have played such an integral role in Kemarah\u2019s and Khristian\u2019s heart journey. These are the same caring hands and compassionate hearts who have walked alongside our family through hospital stays, procedures, prayers, tragedy and victories over the last 14 years. Seeing them pour that same love into this camp is something we will never take for granted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seeing Khristian have the opportunity to attend \u2014 to laugh, build friendships, try new activities, and just be a kid \u2014 was truly priceless. It\u2019s hard to put into words how much it means to see your child surrounded by people who understand both the strength and the vulnerability that comes with living with heart disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are beyond grateful.
