A moment for the gown.. it\u2019s designer \ud83d\ude06<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All jokes aside, I\u2019m so happy that I have finally completed all the necessary testing to determine if I will officially be Layla\u2019s liver donor. It\u2019s been a long 2 days in Salt Lake with lots of tests, pokes, and meetings with doctors. As long as all results come back normal, I should be getting a call in the next week to set a surgery date. All of the support, prayers and kind words have been felt and is so appreciated. The surgeon let me know that potential donors who go through this process that do not have a support system at home are denied from donating. So I literally wouldn\u2019t be able to do this without all of the support that has been given. My heart is so full! And I only hope that as surgery gets closer, prayers will continue, especially for Layla and her parents, whose lives will be forever changed \u2764\ufe0f<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
