Two years ago, our family was given the worst news of our lives. Our daughter was diagnosed with bilateral multicystic displastic kidneys. Her chance of survival was less than .0001%. Our world changed. Our priorities shifted. Our future blurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The journey to now has been relentless. We\u2019ve become familiar with more medical terminology than we ever thought possible. We\u2019ve seen specialists from pulmonary hypertension, neonatology, pulmonology, nephrology, gastroenterology, urology, cardiology, psychology, physical therapy, and, occupational therapy. We\u2019ve had more hospital stays than we would like to count.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, we are waiting for the approval to schedule Lily\u2019s life-saving kidney transplant. The wait is excruciating. Sometimes I feel like I can\u2019t breathe because I just want it to happen so badly. When we look back at the people we were two years ago, it is hard to think about the pain we have gone through. We never know what will happen in the next hour but what we do know is that our daughter survived. We survived. We prayed for days like today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please continue to pray for Lily\u2019s journey to transplant. Pray for open doors and expedited appointments. Pray for our family as we are navigating the waiting. And most of all, praise the Lord for his miraculous mercy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
