He spiked a high fever this evening so that bought us a trip to Luries. They did a full viral panal along with some blood cultures. He has tested positive for the parainfluenza (croup) virus. They also think he has an ear infection. They are admitting him and starting some fluids and an antibiotic now. His white blood cells are super low so they\u2019re running some blood cultures too to make sure he doesn\u2019t have some kind of bacterial infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s almost 1 am and we still don\u2019t have a room upstairs yet but hopefully soon.
