Psalm 91
“This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
He is my God & I trust in him
For He will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease”
We declare this over Mac. With transplant comes immunosuppression to keep the body & the new kidney on good terms.
When I get fearful I turn back to He alone is our refuge, our place of safety. We are told “do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness.”
Praises:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

catheter and nose tube out<\/p>\n\n\n\n

pain meds weaned<\/p>\n\n\n\n

almost off all respiratory support<\/p>\n\n\n\n

started physical and occ therapy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

started his feeds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

recliner from our neighbor Tessa’s for Andy to sleep in<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andy’s recovering excellent
Prayers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

continued healthy urine output<\/p>\n\n\n\n

continued healthy kidney function his renal team is thrilled for him<\/p>\n\n\n\n

no longer require respiratory support<\/p>\n\n\n\n

stay healthy by God’s grace & mercy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

get to move to transplant regular floor out of ICU<\/p>\n\n\n\n

g\/j tube fell out yesterday prayers for IR to get it back in today resume successful feeds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God please be with Mac as he’s currently in the IR for his new g\/j tube placement. Thank you Lord for peace from the Holy Spirit. He was so calm going in and brave, letting go of my hand after it was tightly clenched. We prayed for peace, we prayed for correct successful tube placement and we prayed for protection and full health in Jesus name. I hummed Be thou my Vision to him.
Another mountain to climb Mac but I can see God making our endurance greater. Why the tube fell out- we can be upset & stay in that emotion or take it as God’s will & accept & faithfully move forward.
