{"id":97,"date":"2025-10-02T01:49:30","date_gmt":"2025-10-02T01:49:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cota.org\/cotaformac\/?p=97"},"modified":"2025-10-02T01:49:31","modified_gmt":"2025-10-02T01:49:31","slug":"day-5-august-8-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cota.org\/cotaformac\/2025\/10\/02\/day-5-august-8-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 5 &#8211; August 8, 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Up into the cherry tree<br>Who should climb but little me?<br>I held the trunk with both my hands<br>And looked abroad in foreign lands.<br>I saw the next door garden lie,<br>Adorned with flowers, before my eye,<br>And many pleasant places more<br>That I had never seen before.<br>Robert Stevenson<br>We&#8217;ve been reading A Children&#8217;s Garden of Verses, memorizing a poem every few months and listening to the songs by Ted Jacobs.<br>We chose this poem because it was so apt to this time in our life living in a &#8220;foreign to us&#8221; land. The kids have only memories of living in the vast countryside. Now to a bustling main street of Pittsburgh, where there are cars bustling by &amp; new sights and sounds.
