The past few days were full of preparation but a lot of fun too.
It’s been different than many other prior situations with Mac, from his entrance into the world & NICU stay & heart surgery to the many impromptu ICU & ER visits & even a month long hospital stay.
The human instinct of shock still exists but our faith is stronger. Our prayers don’t as often include sparing us from the scary or the medical. But instead may your will be done because we trust you Lord.
We have so much gratitude for each prayer answered – Mac can have a kidney transplant in Pittsburgh- answered . Andy can give Mac a kidney- prayer answered. We can do this as a family and not apart- prayer answered.
Mac’s potassium labs\u00a0 were normal – prayer answered.
We have 2 special road warriors to pray for traveling tomorrow: E&E’s caretaker my steadfast mom Roxane, and Andy’s\u00a0 caretaker, our friend Chris (thanks Anna for letting us borrow him). Tomorrow we get admitted for Mac. Prayers for healthcare that show us God’s light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
