She is also handling her 16 daily medications and 2 injections much better than before. Her medical team is still working to adjust her medications to best fit her needs and will continue to drop down as she progresses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The injections have left her little legs bruised, but we have found that using numbing cream beforehand helps make them much more comfortable for her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we watch Magnolia finally rest more peacefully, we find ourselves reflecting on how grateful we are for her donor. We are thankful for the willingness of a living donor to undergo surgery and give part of their liver, but we are also grateful that God had other plans to minimize the risks that the living donor could have had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, our hearts remain heavy as parents knowing that another family experienced an unimaginable loss so that Magnolia could receive a second chance at life. We continue to pray for the donor\u2019s family as they grieve, and we honor the incredible gift they have given our little girl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a1Por fin Magnolia est\u00e1 comenzando a descansar m\u00e1s a medida que su dolor disminuye! Tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 tolerando mucho mejor sus 16 medicamentos diarios y sus 2 inyecciones. Su equipo m\u00e9dico contin\u00faa ajustando los medicamentos para adaptarlos mejor a sus necesidades, y la cantidad seguir\u00e1 disminuyendo conforme a su recuperaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las inyecciones han dejado moretones en sus peque\u00f1as piernas, pero hemos descubierto que usar una crema anest\u00e9sica antes de aplicarlas ayuda a que sean mucho m\u00e1s c\u00f3modas para ella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mientras vemos a Magnolia descansar m\u00e1s tranquilamente, nos encontramos reflexionando sobre lo agradecidos que estamos por su donante. Estamos agradecidos por la disposici\u00f3n de un donante vivo para someterse a una cirug\u00eda y donar parte de su h\u00edgado, pero tambi\u00e9n estamos agradecidos porque Dios ten\u00eda otros planes para minimizar los riesgos que ese donante pudo haber enfrentado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al mismo tiempo, nuestros corazones siguen conmovidos como padres al saber que otra familia sufri\u00f3 una p\u00e9rdida inimaginable para que Magnolia pudiera recibir una segunda oportunidad de vida.
