Officially, Magnolia has graduated from intensive therapy\/care following her transplant! <\/strong>We have been discharged from the hospital after more than a month of being here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is still a long road ahead in her recovery journey, but thank God, our little girl is improving more and more every day. This week she will have follow-up appointments for her checkups and on June 29 she will begin chemotherapy again. This will take place here in Durham as the transplant team finds this to be best for Magnolia after the complications she encounter during the transplant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We cannot be back home in Charlotte until Magnolia is medically cleared. Once she begins Chemo she will need to remain in Durham or be at maximum 45 mins of distance from Durham so they can monitor any unforeseen circumstances. Durham will be home for the next 2 months minimum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are still trying to figure the medication regimen that will work best for Magnolia. Praying for her levels to improve. Especially the ones that are showing signs of kidney damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a1Oficialmente, Magnolia se ha graduado del cuidado intensivo despu\u00e9s de su trasplante! <\/strong>Hemos sido dados de alta del hospital despu\u00e9s de m\u00e1s de un mes de estar aqu\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Todav\u00eda queda un largo camino por recorrer en su proceso de recuperaci\u00f3n, pero gracias a Dios, nuestra peque\u00f1a sigue mejorando d\u00eda tras d\u00eda. Esta semana tendr\u00e1 sus citas de seguimiento para sus chequeos y el 29 de junio comenzar\u00e1 nuevamente la quimioterapia. Esta se llevar\u00e1 a cabo aqu\u00ed en Durham, ya que el equipo de trasplantes considera que es lo mejor para Magnolia despu\u00e9s de las complicaciones que enfrent\u00f3 durante el trasplante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No podremos regresar a casa en Charlotte hasta que Magnolia reciba autorizaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica. Una vez que comience la quimioterapia, deber\u00e1 permanecer en Durham o estar como m\u00e1ximo a 45 minutos de distancia para que puedan monitorearla ante cualquier situaci\u00f3n inesperada. Durham ser\u00e1 nuestro hogar durante al menos los pr\u00f3ximos dos meses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Los m\u00e9dicos todav\u00eda est\u00e1n tratando de encontrar el r\u00e9gimen de medicamentos que funcione mejor para Magnolia. Estamos orando para que sus niveles mejoren, especialmente aquellos que est\u00e1n mostrando se\u00f1ales de da\u00f1o renal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
