About two weeks ago, Magnolia officially started initiating crawling. Watching her move around on her own again has brought tears to our eyes and so much excitement to our home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another very special blessing has been the backyard play set donated by the Roc Solid Foundation. This gift has brought so much joy to our family as Magnolia can enjoy the feeling of being at a park while staying safely at home, which means she can have fun and be safe while she continues to recover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She has also grown strong enough to hold her own toys and books, which may seem like such a simple thing, but to us it represents so much progress. We have watched her regain strength little by little, and seeing her sit, play, hold her favorite things and explore her surroundings has been incredibly encouraging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most of all, we have been grateful for the moments of relaxation. Magnolia has been smiling so much, enjoying her time at home and simply being a little girl. After months filled with hospitals, procedures, chemotherapy and recovery, these peaceful moments mean everything to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are continuing to take things one day at a time and celebrate every milestone, no matter how big or small. Crawling, holding a book, playing in the backyard and seeing that beautiful smile are reminders of just how far our little girl has come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God has carried Magnolia and our family through every difficult moment, and we continue to trust Him with every step ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are still many things we are praying over as Magnolia continues to recover. We are currently waiting to see if she will qualify for physical therapy at home so that we can continue helping her build her strength and reach new milestones in a safe and familiar environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please also continue to pray for her feedings. She is still not having much retention, so feeding continues to be an area we are watching closely. We are praying that her little body will continue to heal and that she will eventually be able to tolerate and retain her feeds better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our journey is still very much ongoing. We continue to travel to Duke every other week for her appointments and follow up care. During the weeks we are not traveling to Duke, we still have physician appointments here in Charlotte that we need to take her to. It is a lot of traveling and coordinating, but we are incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to bring her home and continue her recovery surrounded by her family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please continue to keep our sweet Magnolia in your prayers as she grows stronger, continues healing and takes each new step forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Las peque\u00f1as victorias de Magnolia en casa<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estas \u00faltimas semanas desde que Magnolia regres\u00f3 a casa despu\u00e9s de su hospitalizaci\u00f3n en Duke han estado llenas de hermosas peque\u00f1as victorias para ella y para su familia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Han podido verla trabajar con todas sus fuerzas para recuperar su fortaleza, y cada nuevo logro se siente como una gran bendici\u00f3n. Hace aproximadamente dos semanas, Magnolia oficialmente comenz\u00f3 a intentar gatear por s\u00ed sola. Verla volver a moverse por su cuenta ha tra\u00eddo l\u00e1grimas de alegr\u00eda y much\u00edsima emoci\u00f3n a su hogar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Otra bendici\u00f3n muy especial ha sido el \u00e1rea de juegos para el patio donada por la Fundaci\u00f3n Roc Solid. Este regalo ha tra\u00eddo much\u00edsima alegr\u00eda a su familia, ya que Magnolia puede disfrutar la experiencia de estar en un parque mientras permanece segura en casa. As\u00ed puede divertirse y, al mismo tiempo, estar protegida mientras contin\u00faa recuper\u00e1ndose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tambi\u00e9n ha recuperado suficiente fuerza para sostener sus propios juguetes y libros. Puede parecer algo muy sencillo, pero para su familia representa much\u00edsimo progreso. Han podido verla recuperar sus fuerzas poco a poco, y verla sentarse, jugar, sostener sus cosas favoritas y explorar lo que la rodea ha sido incre\u00edblemente alentador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sobre todo, su familia est\u00e1 muy agradecida por los momentos de tranquilidad. Magnolia ha estado sonriendo much\u00edsimo, disfrutando su tiempo en casa y simplemente siendo una ni\u00f1a. Despu\u00e9s de tantos meses llenos de hospitales, procedimientos, quimioterapia y recuperaci\u00f3n, estos momentos de paz significan much\u00edsimo para ellos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contin\u00faan tomando las cosas un d\u00eda a la vez y celebrando cada logro, sin importar qu\u00e9 tan grande o peque\u00f1o sea. Gatear, sostener un libro, jugar en el patio y ver esa hermosa sonrisa son recordatorios de lo lejos que ha llegado esta peque\u00f1a guerrera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dios ha sostenido a Magnolia y a su familia en cada momento dif\u00edcil, y ellos contin\u00faan confiando en \u00c9l con cada paso que viene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Todav\u00eda hay muchas cosas por las que siguen orando mientras Magnolia contin\u00faa recuper\u00e1ndose. Actualmente est\u00e1n esperando saber si calificar\u00e1 para recibir terapia f\u00edsica en casa, para que puedan continuar ayud\u00e1ndola a recuperar su fuerza y alcanzar nuevos logros en un ambiente seguro y familiar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por favor, contin\u00faen orando tambi\u00e9n por su alimentaci\u00f3n. Magnolia todav\u00eda no est\u00e1 logrando retener bien sus alimentos, por lo que esta contin\u00faa siendo un \u00e1rea que est\u00e1n monitoreando muy de cerca. Est\u00e1n orando para que su peque\u00f1o cuerpo contin\u00fae sanando y que, con el tiempo, pueda tolerar y retener mejor su alimentaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este camino todav\u00eda contin\u00faa. Cada dos semanas, Magnolia y su familia siguen viajando a Duke para sus citas y cuidados de seguimiento. Durante las semanas en las que no viajan a Duke, tambi\u00e9n tienen citas m\u00e9dicas aqu\u00ed en Charlotte a las que deben llevarla.
