{"id":425,"date":"2026-10-02T04:18:10","date_gmt":"2026-10-02T04:18:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cota.org\/cotaformagnolia\/?p=425"},"modified":"2026-10-02T04:18:51","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T04:18:51","slug":"prayer-needed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cota.org\/cotaformagnolia\/2026\/10\/02\/prayer-needed\/","title":{"rendered":"Prayers needed!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Every Moment Matters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"720\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1280 \/ 720;\" width=\"1280\" controls src=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/cotaformagnolia\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6745\/2026\/10\/IMG_3939.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today was a reminder of just how quickly things can change in Magnolia\u2019s world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We went from having a beautiful day celebrating her journey at a presentation, surrounded by so much love and support, to having a sick little girl all in the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the reality of life after a liver transplant. While we are incredibly grateful to be home and watching Magnolia make progress, her journey still requires constant care and caution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because of her anti-rejection medications, Magnolia is immunocompromised. These medications are essential to protecting her new liver, but they also suppress her immune system, making her much more vulnerable to infections. Something that might be a minor illness for another child can quickly become much more serious for her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a constant reminder that a good morning doesn\u2019t always guarantee a good evening. We have learned to celebrate the happy moments while remaining aware that things can change quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We never want Magnolia\u2019s medical journey to define her childhood, but right now, protecting her health means taking things one moment at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, we are especially thankful for the beautiful moments we were given and are praying for her little body to fight through whatever comes next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please continue to keep Magnolia in your prayers. Pray for protection, healing, strength, and many more healthy days ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are learning to never take an ordinary day for granted because every moment truly is a gift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One day, one hour, one moment at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.\u201d Psalm 118:24<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cada momento cuenta<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoy fue un recordatorio de lo r\u00e1pido que pueden cambiar las cosas en la vida de Magnolia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pasamos de tener un hermoso d\u00eda celebrando su historia durante una presentaci\u00f3n, rodeados de tanto amor y apoyo, a terminar el mismo d\u00eda con nuestra peque\u00f1a enferma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esta es la realidad de la vida despu\u00e9s de un trasplante de h\u00edgado. Aunque estamos profundamente agradecidos de que Magnolia est\u00e9 en casa y de poder verla avanzar en su recuperaci\u00f3n, su camino todav\u00eda requiere cuidado y precauci\u00f3n constantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Debido a sus medicamentos antirrechazo, Magnolia est\u00e1 inmunocomprometida. Estos medicamentos son esenciales para proteger su nuevo h\u00edgado, pero tambi\u00e9n disminuyen la capacidad de su sistema inmunol\u00f3gico para defenderse, haci\u00e9ndola mucho m\u00e1s vulnerable a las infecciones. Algo que para otro ni\u00f1o podr\u00eda ser una enfermedad leve, para ella puede convertirse r\u00e1pidamente en algo mucho m\u00e1s serio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es un recordatorio constante de que una buena ma\u00f1ana no siempre garantiza una buena tarde. Hemos aprendido a celebrar los momentos de alegr\u00eda, sin olvidar que las cosas pueden cambiar r\u00e1pidamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nunca queremos que el proceso m\u00e9dico de Magnolia defina su infancia, pero en este momento, proteger su salud significa tomar las cosas un momento a la vez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoy estamos especialmente agradecidos por los hermosos momentos que Dios nos permiti\u00f3 disfrutar y estamos orando para que su peque\u00f1o cuerpo tenga la fortaleza para enfrentar lo que venga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por favor, contin\u00faen manteniendo a Magnolia en sus oraciones.
