{"id":4,"date":"2018-06-08T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-06-08T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cota1.wpengine.com\/cotaformarkf\/our-story\/"},"modified":"2025-03-20T13:50:46","modified_gmt":"2025-03-20T13:50:46","slug":"our-story","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cota.org\/cotaformarkf\/our-story\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Story"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant families are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure.&nbsp; The Children&rsquo;s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses.&nbsp; In Tallmadge, volunteers are raising funds for COTA in honor of transplant patients like local boy, Mark Frick.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mark is the son of Terrace Teter and Wayne Frick.
