Hey everyone, if you have perused the site lately at all you will notice there will be a massive fundraiser on June 9th, 2018 at Bonfire Collective. I would love for everyone to come out, have fun, win prizes, support COTA. I’ll be there and would love to say hi!. I’ve been up to quite a bit recently; planting lots of plants and helping my mom (the real gardener) with her beds and yard, working at HyVee and continuing to enjoy scouring garage/estate sales in my free time. 

I could not be where I am right now without COTA. They have helped me, like so many others, with financial obligations post transplant. From small copays to large travel costs, food, and the fundraiser mentioned above. They have been easy to work with and very friendly. I’m very thankful for them, as I’m sure many transplant patients are! 

May 27th will be one year since my transplant and I continue to do well and think everyday how great it feels to be able to live like never before. Come on out to Bonfire Collective on June 9th and help me celebrate with a whole lot of other folks!
