Monday 2/3, Marshall is still snoozing after his cath/biopsy this morning. He did well with the procedure and we should get results in the next day or two. They have started him on some more medicine to help his new heart normalize a little more (for my nurse friends it’s a second round of milrinone). He did get a couple of his drains taken out and some new dressings on his incision. The docs are concerned with his weight and intake of calories and he may need a temporary feeding tube to help him get some nutrition in but we are still working with him to take food by mouth. Between sedation, pain meds, and just not feeling great he doesn’t have much of an appetite. But we are just trying to focus on feeling a little better each day and moving in the right direction.
