Many thanks to the wonderful organizers, teachers, students, parents and friends who participated and made the fundraiser so successful and fun-filled.<\/p>\n<p>The event included a 5k run\/walk along the Yellowstone Kelly Heritage Trail, a pancake breakfast served by the CSU, Chico Women&#8217;s Basketball Team, face painting and bounce houses for the kids. There were plenty of smiles to go around!<\/p>\n<p>Our transplant girls, Mia and Nyah, walked the 5k with friends and family. It was wonderful to see them feeling so well and enjoying the support of the Achieve community.<\/p>\n<p>This was the second time Achieve sponsored a <em>March for Mia<\/em>. When Mia was just a baby and Achieve was also in it&#8217;s infancy, they jumped right in to help with our 2005 fundraising campaign. Their mission states: &#8220;Our character-building small school environment empowers students to be positive contributors to society&#8221;.
