Hooray! It will take some time for her to settle in and feel comfortable. The hope is that being closer to her family will be easier on everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has made good progress this last week, continuing to work on her physical strength and mobility, as well as communication and dexterity. And she finally seems to have an appetite!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What impresses everyone who visits with Miranda is her gracious, kind demeanor and desire to express thanks. She is working so hard to recover from this monumental health crisis!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As you think of Miranda and her family, please pray for her encouragement. Every day is challenging. Every day. Pray also for Joel, Olivia, and Nolan, whose lives have been upended, that they will find some nourishing rhythms together as a family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, out of respect for the family and all the things they are juggling, we ask that people use this site as the main avenue to send messages of encouragement and care. We are working to post more regular updates and hope that this can be a place for friends\/family to follow Miranda\u2019s journey, and a centralized place to share their regards.
