Especially this early in the game. My\u2019s blood pressure remains really low even with medication for it and extra fluids on board. They also aren\u2019t having good urine output.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When PT came by my was very strong. The physical therapist said My was the strongest TPIAT patient she\u2019s seen first day. I still can\u2019t believe they were able to get out of the bed and into a chair. Getting up did make My\u2019s blood pressure plummet. It was so scary. It happened both sitting up in bed and getting into the chair. My passed out for just a few seconds. They felt really nauseous and the pain got so bad to where they were crying. They never cry! I had to sneak out to go get sick in the bathroom. Seeing the blood pressures go so low had Daniel and I both pretty upset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Praying those can come up to a normal level, that urine would become normal out put, and pain would stay manageable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My just got more pain meds and asked us to play their favorite music. They are in between a sleep and awake state making sigh noises as they breathe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love to forget the negative side of things quickly and focus on the positive, so that situation threw me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My continues to be a trooper. They keep asking for water, but aren\u2019t able to have any for a day or two at least. Until they are ready for feeds. At one point after asking probably 5 times (they\u2019re pretty out of it) they asked \u201cWhat could I DO to get some water?\u201d So sweet. Ready to wheel and deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are stacked with two towers of meds, but they got over to that chair and were bound and determined to do the physical things the doctors asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mylinsangrypancreas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/img_6546.jpg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-156\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As we all know healing isn\u2019t linear.
