I gave them a bolus around midnight, and that only brought it down for like 30 minutes before it went climbing again.  So I didn\u2019t sleep.  I thought they were sleeping, but turns out they were having trouble. Upon entering the first room I was looking at a painting and My just kept saying \u201cMama\u2026Edward\u2026look at Edward!\u201d  It was a huge tapestry of bedazzled sorts of Edward Cullen, the sparkling vampire main character of the Twilight series. It was amazing and hilarious.  The garlic\u2026 omg. We laughed, the girl next to us was laughing.  (In the movie Edward tells the female main character, \u201cThis is the skin of a killer, Bella.\u201d as his skin glitters in the sunlight. Lol. Hence today\u2019s title.) I got everything out, and for some reason got the main ingredient last. It was empty. Gah! Luckily, the car keys are hooked to the diabetes backpack, so away we went.  We headed for the grocery store, but saw a restaurant I had saw on Yelp the day before. By the time we reached the restaurant it was full on brunch time again.  My picked something low carb which made a proper bolus quite a bit easier.  However, we did realize that in the hullabaloo of cleaning up the kitchen, I forgot the brand new food scale (and she gone forever now, sadness). We grabbed some leftovers in the dining hall and retired to our room at the Ronald McDonald House for the night at 4pm. My\u2019s been in bed since just chilling. Not sleeping, but trying to rest their little body. I really hope it gets them back to zero pain.  I decided to make the most of my time. I pulled out 5 weeks of everything that has accumulated in this room. I have an entire suitcase of prescription medication and medical supplies. I\u2019m not even kidding you, an entire suitcase. There\u2019s another suitcase of Mylin\u2019s gifts, art supplies, figurines, and other goods they have collected and been given since arriving. We also have two carry-ons. One has all of Daniel\u2019s clothes he left behind (since we still aren\u2019t if sure he will have to fly back or not), and the other has\u2026 well honestly I couldn\u2019t even fully tell you at this point but I think it\u2019s our Apple TV, Nintendo switch, some food, some bedding we brought from home, a soft cooler, and a bunch of other odds and ends. My brain is mush. My and I both have a \u201cpersonal item\u201d backpack with our clothes, iPad, and snacks. Lastly My also has their diabetes bag. I am hoping we don\u2019t run into any issues with TSA (we have a boat load of needles, pills, and all kinds of things that are going to flag that x-ray machine). I plan to ask for paperwork at our endocrinology appointment tomorrow. I cleaned out our dry storage locker, the fridge, and the freezer.  I had a decent amount of food that I donated to the \u201cfree\u201d fridge and freezer areas. After cleaning the room, I was also able to donate a bunch of fidgets to the front desk that I had bought for Mylin. I feel like Mylin went from not being with it enough to play with fidgets, to wanting to do something more than play with fidgets in like two seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019m really hoping they tell us after our Endo appointment that we\u2019re free to go. That\u2019s why I did all the move out stuff today. I am ready to get outta here. Let\u2019s go home! Still waiting to hear what they found out about getting an appointment in SD to get the stomach tube out.
