Making faces. Reminding us daily that there\u2019s a full, beautiful person behind those hospital walls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And today, this growing boy needs a little help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the morning, he\u2019ll have a bedside procedure to replace his VAD &#8211; the external heart pump that\u2019s been keeping him strong while we wait for the real one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a relatively simple procedure. No operating room. Just his team and their steady hands right there beside him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But still\u2026 it\u2019s hard not to feel the weight of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019d love your prayers:<br><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\ud83e\udde1\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/16.0\/1f9e1\/32.png\">&nbsp;For a smooth, uneventful procedure<br><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\ud83e\udde1\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/16.0\/1f9e1\/32.png\">&nbsp;For continued strength and stability<br><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\ud83e\udde1\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/16.0\/1f9e1\/32.png\">&nbsp;For peace in this time of waiting &#8211; for us, for him, and for the family somewhere out there whose gift will someday become his miracle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re grateful beyond words for every prayer, every kind word, every quiet act of support &#8211; we feel it.
