He is happy,<br>bright-eyed, and growing. You truly wouldn&#8217;t know he has been through so much just by<br>looking at him. He even rolled over for the first time last week. He is one remarkable<br>little guy.<br>We also have some harder news to sit alongside the good. His cholangitis and<br>peritonitis have both resolved, which is a significant milestone after everything his little<br>body has been through. However, his care team has let us know that Remi&#8217;s liver<br>transplant is likely to be needed sooner than we had originally hoped. We are<br>processing that news as a family, leaning on each other, and trusting the incredible<br>team in Boston to guide us through what comes next.<br>In the meantime, Remi will be having labs drawn twice a week at UVM and monthly<br>appointments with his Boston doctors to stay on top of things.<br>Thank you for continuing to walk this road with us.<br>\u2014 Remi&#8217;s Parents<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>July 3, 2026Remi Is Home, With Mixed NewsWe are so happy to share that Remi is back home and doing beautifully.
