I got to put her in her car seat and drive away. It still feels surreal. <br><br>Yesterday was our first full day at home, and we did exactly what we needed to do \u2014 nothing. We all stayed in the same house, giggled together, learned (and re-learned) the medication routine, and started finding our rhythm. We do have biweekly home nursing support, but day-to-day care is in our hands now, and we\u2019re already getting the hang of it. Sabrina is doing remarkably well.<br><br>We know the hospital isn\u2019t really in our rearview and this isn\u2019t the end of our journey \u2014 it\u2019s a pause. Sabrina still needs a new heart.
