Audie and I were able to stop in for a bit and see some familiar faces, which meant so much. I also got messages from people who grabbed dinner\u2014or even encouraged coworkers and friends to go for Sabrina\u2014and every one of those messages meant more than you know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We had Sabrina\u2019s monthly heart clinic appointment yesterday, and overall, it went well. Her echo is essentially unchanged from last month\u2014which is good. Stability is the goal, and she is doing well. So well, in fact, that she was giggling and laughing during the appointment and absolutely made the heart failure team\u2019s day with her cackles. It\u2019s been a while since she\u2019s felt good enough to do that, and seeing her feel that good means everything\u2014even when her numbers aren\u2019t where we wish they were.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This picture is from a recent walk on a warm day\u2014something we\u2019re trying to do as often as we can right now. These simple, normal moments are what stability looks like for us, and they mean everything.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ll be honest\u2014every month I find myself hoping for more. I convince myself this might be the time we see a big shift or some kind of spontaneous recovery. So even when things are stable (which is what we want), it can still be emotional to hear. I\u2019m working on reframing that. Because stability means she\u2019s staying healthy, staying home, and gives her the best chance at a transplant at 1B status\u2014which is our goal right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for showing up, for sharing, for wearing your Sabrina Strong gear, and for continuing to support our family.
