Sarah had her surgery that was meant to prepare her to go home soon, which included several procedures. Unfortunately, during the operation, some high-risk complications arose, and the surgery had to be cut short, sending her back to the ICU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A special medical tool needed for her surgery had to be brought all the way from Japan, which arrived this past Monday. Sarah was then taken back into the OR, and while not all of the procedures could be completed, the team was able to finish the majority. Through this process, she was intubated and extubated a couple of times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By God\u2019s grace, Sarah has been recovering well and has now been moved out of the ICU and back to her regular room. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\ud83d\ude4f\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/t1f\/2\/16\/1f64f.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\ud83d\udc97\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/t9\/2\/16\/1f497.png\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We kindly ask you to keep Sarah in your prayers for a smooth and full recovery.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83e\ude79\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/te9\/2\/16\/2764_200d_1fa79.png\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La semana pasada ha sido una experiencia muy intensa. Sarah se someti\u00f3 a la cirug\u00eda que deb\u00eda prepararla para volver a casa pronto, la cual incluy\u00f3 varios procedimientos. Desafortunadamente, durante la operaci\u00f3n surgieron algunas complicaciones de alto riesgo, por lo que la cirug\u00eda tuvo que acortarse, envi\u00e1ndola de nuevo a la UCI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un instrumento m\u00e9dico especial necesario para su cirug\u00eda tuvo que ser tra\u00eddo desde Jap\u00f3n, el cual lleg\u00f3 el lunes pasado. Sarah fue llevada de nuevo al quir\u00f3fano y, aunque no se pudieron completar todos los procedimientos, el equipo logr\u00f3 completar la mayor\u00eda. Durante este proceso, fue intubada y extubada un par de veces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gracias a Dios, Sarah se ha estado recuperando bien y ya ha salido de la UCI y ha regresado a su habitaci\u00f3n regular.
