She had a bunch of labs to do today and will be seeing a lot of specialists. Surgery is scheduled for 7:30. Surgery will take at least 12 hours. She will most likely be in the hospital for about 3 weeks. Shantel and Jodi will then stay at the Ronald McDonald House for another 3-4 weeks. Shantel is anxious, tired, and ready to get it over with. Recovery will be difficult but once we get through that things will be much better.
