She had been gaining weight really well after starting milrinone, but recently lost a decent amount, and it\u2019s been difficult to get her back on track. The team has been making a few medication adjustments, and thankfully her nausea seems to be improving a little. We\u2019re hoping these medication changes will help her start gaining weight again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also had some fun this week! Sofia celebrated Seacrest Studios\u2019 13th birthday with a party in the lobby, and both the hospital and Ronald McDonald House hosted Christmas in July celebrations. The kids were excited to get a couple of new toys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mom and Dad have also been busy planning Noah\u2019s second birthday, which is coming up soon. It\u2019s hard to believe we\u2019re about to celebrate another family birthday with Sofia still in the hospital. We\u2019ve celebrated Mom\u2019s birthday, then Sofia\u2019s birthday, and soon Noah\u2019s birthday, with Dad\u2019s birthday just around the corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The wait has been much longer than we ever hoped it would be, but we\u2019re so grateful for every day we\u2019ve been given. Every day Sofia remains strong, stable, and healthy is another day that brings us closer to the miracle heart we\u2019ve been praying for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img
