Dear Diary Entry #19- 6\/16\/23<\/div>\n

Can you believe it’s been 2 weeks since the surgery already?! Time sure flies by. Sydney continues to make progress daily. It’s nice to see her get up on her own in the mornings and not be so tired. She is usually in bed and sleeping away until we wake her up. She’s also eating well and happy she can have avocados and bananas now. Avocados and bananas are high in potassium so she was more restricted prior to transplant. She has labs twice a week and sees the dr. once a week. They are monitoring her levels and revising medications as needed.<\/div>\n

I had my 2 week post op appointment today and I am healing well. What a blessing! My pain is pretty much gone and there’s some discomfort here and there. My incisions are very itchy which is normal as I heal. It no longer hurts to laugh or cough. Sneezing is a little awkward haha. I was so afraid I would rupture my incisions in the beginning!<\/div>\n

Thank you to @mommapaulajoy Paula Bingham DeRaita<\/span><\/a> who was hanging with us for 2 weeks and helping me with the daily things I wasn’t able to do. We love you!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

P.S. We found this delicious Cuban bakery called Versailles. It reminds me of Porto’s. Can we say dangerous? \"????\"<\/span>\"????\"<\/span><\/div>\n
