We have hit the 4 week mark since surgery! Av’s is doing amazing. We had a really good weekend celebrating Jarret and resting! Here are some highlights:<\/div>\n

– Girls got to make some stuffed animals and make a wish on the heart that went inside it. Ronnie’s house is such a magical place for these kids. They will have memories for a lifetime of this chapter of our families journey. We are so thankful for this generous donation event.<\/div>\n

– Celebrated Jarret by going geocaching for the first time – it was really fun! Located 2 of the 3 caches we searched for.<\/div>\n

– Avery left the hospital campus for the first time in a month! Geocaching and Target were the destinations! Both girls got to spend their allowance and a couple gift cards they got from a friend!<\/div>\n

 <\/div>\n
– Avery received a very beautiful art piece from a boys mom here who had the same surgery one week before Avery. We love them to pieces and would appreciate lots of thoughts and prayers for Tommy as they navigate his own complications\/hurdles from the surgery.<\/div>\n

– Last night, Avery and Tommy decorated their Omnipods together. There was so much laugher shared in the few hours he “came over to play!” It was so nice to see them both having so much fun. They painted their pods as hamburgers and fries!!<\/div>\n
