First she had an ear infection (out of nowhere, it seemed!) and now, pneumonia. She started with a dry cough in late November, and since then she&#8217;s had various MDs listen to her lungs (pediatrician, urgent care, cardiology, etc)&#8230; but we scheduled a follow up with her incredible pediatrician (to confirm the ear infection was gone- it&#8217;s tough to know how much antibiotics newly immunosuppressed kids need) and he heard the unfortunate crackling in her lower left lung, and confirmed the pneumonia via xray. <br \/><br \/>She&#8217;s had some rough moments, O2 dropping into the 80s and difficulty sleeping, but with some at home RT (respiratory therapy) like clapping on her back, getting her moving and coughing- the secretions move and she&#8217;s back into the mid 90s. Mostly in the 94-96 range. We started azithromycin today- here&#8217;s to hoping it kicks it!<br \/><br \/>Does anyone remember when the girls would sleep in the same room every night after we moved home, this time last year? They are doing so again tonight. I think Fiona&#8217;s worried about Bianca and wanted to take care of her- and Bianca loves having Fiona close.
