Transplant was then CANCELED for a second time. We were devastated! We came back home that same day.<\/p>\n<p>Not much has happened since then. Brayden has been quarantined for weeks and will remain quarentined until his NEW transplant date (September 27th, 2023). Brayden did have a big day on Tuesday, August 27th, 2023; it was his first day of home school. He was super excited and he did absolutely amazing. Brayden is very smart, I must say; and he loves learning new things.<\/p>\n<p>Our COTA volunteers are also organizing and holding a burger benefit on September 18, 2023 for COTA in honor of Brayden Zorn.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For now&nbsp;we are just waiting on our sons BIG day (September 27th, 2023) when he will recieve his life saving kidney transplant from his amazing living donor, Sonya Carrier; hoping the third time will be the CHARM!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for all the prayers, support, and donations to COTA for Team Brayden!<\/p>\n<p>-mom&amp;dad<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It has been a while since we&#8217;ve updated Brayden&#8217;s COTA page, so here it is.
