Mommy received good news today from my medical team that I no longer need to have my daily Lovenox shots that mommy had to give me twice a day via needle injections. Mommy, daddy and I are very happy with this early Christmas present. I was placed on Lovenox to prevent and treat potential blood clots that often occur post heart-transplant. I’m going to miss sporting the cool bandaids mommy and daddy would put on me to cover my shot sites; however, I’m very happy that my medication list is now less one…a good sign that I’m a fighting Heart Warrior!
