My lungs had completely failed me and the only thing that would keep me here was a double lung transplant&#8230;Today I celebrate my 1st Lungaversary. This last year has not been easy, it&#8217;s been the hardest year of my life. But having a hard year is better than ha<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: normal; color: #1d2129; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">ving no years. I&#8217;m alive, here on earth, with all of my family &amp; friends. The feeling of receiving life is indescriba<\/span><span class=\"text_exposed_show\" style=\"letter-spacing: normal; display: inline; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; color: #1d2129;\">ble. Grateful doesn&#8217;t even begin to cover the emotion. There are no words.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: normal; color: #1d2129; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">To everyone who has supported me over the last year, thank you. I&#8217;ve made it here today because of you. My family &amp; friends are like no other&#8230;my biggest support system. Along with the many doctors who were involved in saving me.
