Jacob\u2019s creatinine dropped again from .75 to .64, so we are moving in the right direction! Doctor discontinued the IV fluids and wants us to push 90 ounces of water orally today, then draw labs again tomorrow morning to see where we are at. As long as we are still trending in the right direction, we should be able to leave the hospital tomorrow. \ud83e\udd1e\ud83c\udffb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now wish me luck on getting Jacob to drink 90 ounces of water today \ud83d\ude35\u200d\ud83d\udcab <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steve and his mom are in flight on their way to Florida. Steve didn\u2019t want to leave us, but he also didn\u2019t want to be away from Carter that long as it has already been 3 weeks. I miss him so much and struggle with mom guilt every day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is tough, on so many levels. Some days, even moments, are harder than others. But we know we\u2019ve got this, even if we will be 900 miles apart doing it \ud83d\udcaa\ud83c\udffb <\/p>\n\n\n\n
