Jacob had labs this morning, and his creatinine looks stable! \ud83d\udc4d\ud83c\udffb<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have clinic tomorrow morning where we meet with the nephrology team and surgeon. I\u2019m hoping they tell us we don\u2019t need to come back until next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Monday will be a quick procedure to remove the stent in his ureter. He\u2019ll be under anesthesia, but the whole process from start to recovery only takes about an hour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It seems, according to my calculations, that his fluid input\/output is leveling out. There is so much data to keep track of, not to mention all of the medications and the timing\/rules that go along with that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s a lot to stay on top of. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ve also been somewhat nomadic\u2026traveling between friends and relatives who have been so welcoming and helpful in taking us in. We\u2019ve been living out of a suitcase for a while! I\u2019m hoping that as Jacob\u2019s medication gets to an acceptable level, our visits to the hospital will become less frequent. \ud83e\udd1e\ud83c\udffb<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As if this wasn\u2019t enough chaos, my mother\u2019s funeral is next Friday, March 6th. Steve and Carter will fly up midweek for that and stay through the weekend. So even though it\u2019s not the best of circumstances, I\u2019m really excited to see them. I haven\u2019t seen Carter for over a month, and I miss having Steve with us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
