After speaking with many medical professionals, they all came to the conclusion that Wil needs a double transplant. He needs a new kidney because his are failing, and he needs a new liver that&rsquo;s not diseased to protect his new kidney.<\/p>\n<p>Wil enjoys being outside, riding his horse and playing practical jokes. We can&rsquo;t wait for his quality of life to improve so he can get back to the things he enjoys in life.<\/p>\n<p>The Children&#8217;s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. COTA is the nation&rsquo;s only fundraising organization solely dedicated to raising life-saving dollars in honor of transplant-needy children and young adults. 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of our patients helps meet transplant-related expenses.
