This Monday, I received the long-awaited call for a liver transplant. Amid the rush of preparation, I felt a profound mix of excitement and anxiety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seven-hour surgery was successful, and thanks to the exceptional care from my medical team, the new liver is doing well. Just today, I stood for the first time since the operation and am working towards more mobility each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This journey has been deeply humbling and miraculous. I am immensely thankful to the donor&#8217;s family whose generosity has given me this second chance at life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I look forward to returning home next week, your continued prayers and support are needed, especially as I navigate recovery with limited mobility. I\u2019ll need ongoing assistance with Jayce and support for my mom, and I would be grateful for any help you can provide.
