It\u2019s been a little bit of a roller coaster ride the past few days. TJ has able to get a pass to the Ronald McDonald House for a few hours. She got rooftop views and some Lego time in. Plan was to discharge to the RMH Monday especially considering how well her weekend went. Monday morning we walked in to her sick, nauseous and having really bad back pain. Team reevaluated, treated her and we moved to possible discharge Tuesday. Tuesday morning came and she had had a semi rough night with sugars and we had a home health setback. Also, her pass didn\u2019t go great and asked to be taken back to the hospital after about 30 minutes or so. Discharge moved to today. Woke up early, ready to start Taylor\u2019s Omnipod with the team and get her off the hospital pump and got a call with her crying saying it\u2019s been a terrible night\/morning. Time to reevaluate and pivot again. Really hoping these changes will help make this transition a little easier. We\u2019ve been reminded again that textbook isn\u2019t always what it seems. It\u2019s ok to not be ok just yet because she is doing hard things. Also, a huge highlight for TJ this week was that her rugby team had their end of season banquet and her friends made sure to FaceTime her in to include her in their fun. Can\u2019t say it enough, but I am so in awe with these young ladies\u2665\ufe0f\ud83c\udfc9\ud83e\udd0d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
