Yesterday marked another Memorial Day during which we strive to remember the sacrifices made by those who gave all for our country.\u00a0 I am proud to be an active volunteer for Carry the Load (carrytheload.org) for many years which works to preserve the sanctity of this day.\u00a0 Last year Trinity was also able to volunteer with me, working at the Carry the Load Information Booth over the Memorial Day Weekend.\u00a0 This year she had planned to volunteer on Monday, but unfortunately, due to the terrible inclement weather that came through late on Sunday night in Dallas, the Monday event was cancelled, and Trinity was not able to support this year\u2019s event in person.\u00a0 However, I wanted to share with you a picture of her from last year\u2019s event when she did volunteer.\u00a0 We hope you\u2019ll know that no matter how good or bad you\u2019re feeling, you\u2019ll try to commemorate Memorial Day every year. \u00a0\u2013Sandy (Big Sister)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
