Trinity was patient 160 at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, for her Total Pancreatectomy with Islet Autotransplantation (TPIAT). CCHMC has an art ritual for all of the children who undergo this major surgery. It was so heartwarming for Trinity to participate by dipping her thumb in her favorite color of blue to add her thumbprint to the painting. Our family is so very grateful for all of the wonderful care and support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
