Le est&aacute;n saliendo los dientes de arriba entonces no ha comido muy bien la &uacute;ltima semana pero nadie est&aacute; preocupado por eso (se est&aacute; portando como una bebe normal para su edad).<br \/> Tiene muchas ganas de gatear pero no se puede por el coraz&oacute;n de Berl&iacute;n entonces estamos tratando de hacer que fortalezca bien las piernas a ver si se empieza a parar.<br \/> Lo que ha hecho la espera m&aacute;s larga es la falta de compatibilidad con otro coraz&oacute;n porque no solo es <span class=\"text_exposed_show\">importante el tipo de sangre sino los anticuerpos HLA (son unos anticuerpos que todos tenemos en los gl&oacute;bulos blancos que nos defienden contra infecciones y que atacan cualquier tejido que reconozcan como extra&ntilde;o) que son lo m&aacute;s importante para que el cuerpo de ella no rechace el coraz&oacute;n que le van a trasplantar.<br \/> Yo sigo en Orlando trabajando y viajo a ver las ni&ntilde;as el mi&eacute;rcoles.<br \/> Vicky mam&aacute; se va para Espa&ntilde;a el lunes y va a ser un totazo muy duro para todos pero esperamos que pueda volver a mitad de a&ntilde;o y ya ojal&aacute; en otras circunstancias.<br \/> Feliz noche para todos!<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/-\/<\/p>\n<p>Hi everyone!<br \/> Vale continues to do great. She&rsquo;s teething again so her appetite hasn&rsquo;t been the greatest this last week, however no one seems to be worried about it (she&rsquo;s just being a toddler).<br \/> She really wants to crawl but she is not allowed to because of the Berlin heart so we are trying to help her strengthen her legs and hopefully she&rsquo;ll walk instead.<br \/> It&rsquo;s been a long wait and the trasplant team is waiting for a near perfect match that includes not only her same blood type but her HLA antibodies (the HLA antibodies are attached to everybody&rsquo;s white cells and are in charge of scanning and attacking infections and foreign tissues) in order to avoid her from rejecting her new heart.<br \/> I&rsquo;m in Orlando working and will be back to Gainesville next Wednesday.<br \/> Grandma Vicky will be leaving us on Monday and it won&rsquo;t be easy to see her go.
