Unfortunately, this week has been especially difficult. Zach contracted a serious and painful bacterial infection in his intestines called C. diff, he\u2019s been on medication for the past four days, but the road since then has felt like a roller coaster. Not only is he still recovering from surgery, but he\u2019s also battling the painful symptoms that come with this infection \u2014 vomiting, diarrhea, and dry heaving \u2014 all of which have caused additional strain on his already healing intestinal tract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, he presented with phlebitis in his arm from his IVs which had to be removed. These complications have delayed his discharge from the hospital, and left him feeling physically exhausted and emotionally discouraged.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are asking our prayer warriors and friends to please keep lifting him up. He truly needs strength, healing, and encouragement right now.
