We are thrilled to say that our golf outing scheduled for August 4<sup>th<\/sup> has completely SOLD OUT and that we have filled all of our major sponsorships\u2014special shout out to Minnwest Bank who donated a total of $28,000! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Indiana Pacers have also been incredibly generous. Aaron Nesmith donated a signed jersey, and the entire team donated a signed basketball for auction. We are rooting for them in the NBA Finals. Yes C\u2019ers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"282\" height=\"320\" src=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/isabelsimpact\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6415\/2025\/06\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-137\" style=\"width:170px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/isabelsimpact\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6415\/2025\/06\/image.png 282w, https:\/\/cota.org\/isabelsimpact\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6415\/2025\/06\/image-264x300.png 264w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 282px) 100vw, 282px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly and most importantly, we have added 8 new families that we are helping! This brings our total number of families to <strong>31<\/strong>. We can\u2019t thank all of you enough for making our wildest foundation dreams come true. These families are facing life\u2019s hardest moments but they have one less thing to worry about thanks to people like you donating, caring, and spreading the word. Please find more information about them below \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Justin Cauthen, 17 years old<\/strong>: From Jamaica, New York, Justin received an emergent diagnosis of congestive heart failure in early March of this year. On March 28<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;he was transplanted at Cohen Children\u2019s Medical Center. Justin\u2019s mother passed previously, and his father, Jamel, is trying to maintain his employment while Justin recovers from transplant. We are still waiting on a picture of Justin to add to his COTA page:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/cotaforjustinsheart\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Home &#8211; COTA for Justin&#8217;s Heart<\/a>. All of this has been overwhelming for his father who is the sole provider of this sweet family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alessandro Costigliola, 1 year old<\/strong>: Alessandro is from New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Diagnosed with Congenital Aortic Stenosis at birth, this little man has been fighting his whole life. He has undergone 4 cardiac catheterization procedures, one open heart surgery, and is now living with a Berlin Heart\u2014same as our hero baby Isa. He is now admitted until he can receive his heart transplant. The hospital is over 2 hours from home, and travel expenses will be significant. <a href=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/cotaforalessandrosheart\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Home &#8211; COTA for Alessandro&#8217;s Heart<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"303\" height=\"292\" src=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/isabelsimpact\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6415\/2025\/06\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-138\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cota.org\/isabelsimpact\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6415\/2025\/06\/image-1.png 303w, https:\/\/cota.org\/isabelsimpact\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6415\/2025\/06\/image-1-300x289.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 303px) 100vw, 303px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eric Liam DeLeon, 12 years ol<\/strong>d: Eric received his life-saving heart transplant on April 13<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;at Dallas Children\u2019s Hospital after a diagnosis of congenital heart disease. He remains in-patient at this time on dialysis, after facing some setbacks. He was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome while his mother was at 36 weeks gestation and was listed for heart transplant soon after birth. Ollie has undergone many procedures to assist him prior to transplant and now has a VAD in placed. He is still awaiting transplant. His parents will incur copays, deductibles, in addition to travel costs, meals, and lodging as they are 130 miles from home. She is now listed for transplant and her parents are of limited income. She was flown from her local delivery hospital to Dell Children\u2019s Hospital in Austin, Texas where she remained until she was 7 months old. At 7 months, Ryland went through 5 open heart surgeries and received the gift of a heart. She was diagnosed four days later with mixed type cardiomyopathy.She was undergoing conservative management but ultimately had to be listed for heart transplant. Roya received the gift of life with a new heart on leap day 2\/29\/24.
