Matt was born and raised in New York, Matt joined the COTA Board of Directors via Phoenix, Arizona in 2013. Matt and his family have lived in Phoenix since 2004. Matt has been an educator and school administrator for 15 years, while also holding various leadership positions for on several local organizations. Matt joined the COTA Board as a way to serve children and families, both in Phoenix as well as across the country.

During his time serving on the COTA Board, Matt has been a member of the Allocations, Nominations and Strategic Planning and Marketing Committees. Matt brings a valuable perspective to the COTA Board as a parent of young children and as career educator for those with unique physical and cognitive needs.

Matt and his wife are proud parents of two wonderful children. Matt is an active member of the Valley of the Sun Chapter of Canine Companions for Independence. Matt was placed with a highly trained service dog that works alongside Matt each day at his school. Matt loves hiking in the Grand Canyon any chance he can get up to northern Arizona
