We had an awesome night at Pyro’s Fresh Fire Pizza in Collierville on Monday night! Pyro’s donated 20% of their proceeds for the night to the COTA for Elena L campaign. We are so grateful for the generosity of the owners of Pyro’s and we were even more touched by the many strangers who came out to show support and share stories and words of encouragement to us. This is really what community is all about!

A Germantown family heard about our event on our COTA for Elena L. Facebook page and came out to meet little Leni. Their middle son had a kidney transplant at age 3 and they wanted to share his success with the process with us. It is aways wonderful to see young people who have faced similar challenges because it is a reminder of the resiliency and strength of children. A woman who did not know about the event prior to arriving was eager to share that her father received a kidney from his mother 17 years ago. Now that’s love!
